Join photographer Sylvia Galbraith for an evening of fun in this hands-on field trip. This course is timed to take advantage of the (almost) full moon. The first hour will be spent indoors for a lesson on shooting in low light. We’ll cover using timed exposures and night settings, composition, equipment, shooting city lights and more. Then we’ll go out to the meadows of the Arboretum to photograph the setting sun and practice night photography by the light of the moon. We’ll also try some fun flash effects. This course requires a tripod for best results and is suitable for all skill levels. Bring a flashlight and dress for the weather. The rain date is June 19. The early bird fee is $55 if you register on or before June 9.
