Join us for LinkedIn Learning Day, March 4.
LinkedIn representatives will be on campus to host sessions for students, staff and faculty. A resource fair will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the UC courtyard for U of G community members to learn more about how LinkedIn Learning can help with professional and personal development.
Resume reviews and free headshots are available for students. There are lots of fun learning opportunities with prizes to be won during the resource fair.
LinkedIn Learning, with content from Lynda.com, is a video-based training library where users can access online learning modules to build specific skills. Taught by industry professionals, modules are delivered in five languages and topics range from software development, website design, animation, audio and music, soft-skill training, photography and more. Lynda.com was bought by LinkedIn in May 2015.
All U of G students, staff and faculty can access Lynda.com FREE from anywhere, you just need an internet connection and your U of G credentials.
This event is being hosted jointly by the Student Experience Department, Experiential Learning Hub, Human Resources Learning and Development, and Business Career Centre.
