On March 8, we celebrate International Women’s Day.

Throughout history, women have collaborated and lead purposeful action to redress inequality in the hope of a better future. These efforts have been carried out through bold well-documented action, as well as through humble resistance that never made it into history books. International Women’s Day is a global day to celebrate the social, economic, and political achievements of women. The day also calls for action on accelerating efforts of gender parity and violence against women.
