We are excited to announce that the University of Guelph is piloting the Gryphon Grocery Bus – a new, free service that will take students directly to and from food stores in Kitchener.

The Gryphon Grocery Bus will take folks from the University Centre Platform 12B to Kitchener. The bus will arrive at 9:55 a.m. and depart at 10:00 a.m. sharp. There will be a pickup at Wellington Woods at 10:02 a.m. Students will have one hour total time to explore the surrounding grocery stores. Listed below are some grocery stores within the vicinity:

• Farmers Market
• New City Supermarket – Chinese / East Asian Grocery Store
• Amiri Supermarket – Middle Eastern Supermarket
• SMK African Foods
• Variedad Latina (smaller) – Salvadorian restaurant, with some central American groceries
• Ben Thanh – South East Asian grocery store
