Rodolphe Barrangou, recipient of the 2016 Canada Gairdner International Award, will present “CRISPR-Cas Systems: From Adaptive Immunity to Genome Editing Machines.”

Barrangou is an associate professor in the Department of Food, Bioprocessing and Nutrition Sciences, and Todd R. Klaenhammer Distinguished Scholar in Probiotics Research at North Carolina State University.
