Flags on the University of Guelph’s campuses are being flown at half-mast on Friday, Oct. 17, in honour of the memorial of late Honourable Hilary Weston, former Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, who passed away on Aug. 2, 2025. Her memorial is taking place on Oct. 17, 2025.
The flags will remain lowered until sunset on the day of the funeral or the memorial service in accordance with the National Flag of Canada half-masting protocol.
