The University of Guelph and the University of Guelph Faculty Association – the union representing approximately 875 faculty members, librarians and veterinarians – reached a tentative agreement with the assistance of a mediator. The agreement will require ratification by both parties.

The tentative agreement follows several months of constructive bargaining sessions after the current collective agreement with UGFA expired in June of this year.
