We are proud to share that six University of Guelph researchers will be honoured as fellows by the Royal Society of Canada (RSC), as well as one researcher who will be named to the Royal Society’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists. 

This prestigious recognition honours Canada’s emerging generation of scholarly, scientific and artistic leadership.

 The new Fellows are:

All new inductees will be honoured at the 2024 RSC Celebration of Excellence and Engagement event which will be held from Nov. 7 to 9 in Vancouver, B.C. 

“This impressive acknowledgement of academic and scholarly excellence at the University of Guelph honours each of these faculty members for their remarkable work,” says Dr. Rene van Acker, vice-president (research and innovation). “We are proud to celebrate these seven researchers on this significant achievement.”
