Environment Canada has issued a special air quality statement due to high levels of air pollution from forest fires in Quebec and northeastern Ontario.

The University has communicated directly with managers and supervisors who have staff and students working outdoors to ensure safety precautions are taken. Community members are encouraged to monitor the air quality and follow guidelines from the province’s Health Messages for use during Forest Fire and Smoke Related Events.
