Recharge during your study breaks

Stress-Free Drop-In Space
The Library and Student Wellness will host a stress-free space for activities like colouring, making bracelets, playing with slime, popping bubble wrap, and meditating. Snacks will also be available.

Pansy Planting
Students are invited to drop in and help the Student Wellness team plant pansies at the new Wellness Tree Circle on Johnston Green. (Across from the Reynolds building.)

McLaughlin Library invites you to take a break and unwind with fun activities. Check out all of the Library’s Stress Buster events online. -
Glowga Yoga Class
Reduce your exam stress with this free glowga yoga class in the Guelph Gryphons Athletic Centre. Bring your own glow-in-the-dark gear and we will provide the glow sticks and mats.

Cards of Kindness
Take a break and pick up a Cards of Kindness Message at the art show by the preschoolers at the Child Care and Learning Centre. UC Level 1 Student Lounge.

Project Serve
Take a break from exams and celebrate National Volunteer Week and Earth Week with The Experiential Learning Hub Student Volunteer Connections and U of G Sustainability! Spend a half-day of volunteering through this Project Serve Day at the Green Legacy Program. This event is free and a pizza lunch will be provided

Gryphon Gifts
An initiative supported by the University of Guelph Alumni Association (UGAA), Gryphon Gifts supports students in the spring exam period with mental health resources, gifts and on-campus and online engagement.
An Instagram giveaway contest takes place from April 13 to 17 on the AA&D Instagram page, with entrants randomly selected to win 1 of 50 $10 Tim Hortons cards on April 17.
An in-person event on April 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Branion Plaza will offer mental health resources at the U of G Alumni tent, where students can spin a wheel to win prizes, including 100 $10 Hospitality cards, sunglasses and other Alumni swag.
Academic resources
Get quick access to academic resources to help you finish the semester strong. The Undergraduate Academic Information Centre has a list of online resources to help students with their academic success, including tutoring and supported learning groups. Neurodivergent Study Space
The Sexual and Gender Diversity team and Student Wellness will be offering a quiet study space for all neurodivergent students. This will be an environment to unmask and relax while working on take-home assignments or utilize to study for upcoming exams, featuring natural lighting, low volume, a stressbuster corner, and snacks.
