Ontario Agricultural College researcher Dr. Alfons Weersink discussed the first grain shipment from Ukraine since the Russian invasion in February with CBC News Network.   

The shipment, headed to Lebanon, “offers a sign of hope that things are opening up” for countries reliant on grain imports.  

A professor in the Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics, Weersink researches the feasibility of new agricultural technology and policy.
