Turfgrass researcher Dr. Katerina Serlemitsos Jordan spoke with The Weather Network about why there may be holes in your lawn throughout the summer.

Jordan said raccoons and skunks will dig to prey on grubs living under the grass and made recommendations on how to prevent the issue.

A professor in the Department of Plant Agriculture, Jordan researches sustainable turfgrass management and oversees the diagnostic clinic at the Guelph Turfgrass Institute.
