Dr. Ann Pegoraro, the Lang Chair in Sport Management in the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics, spoke to CBC Radio’s Metro Morning in Toronto about a new report that found that one in four girls who participated in sports before the pandemic are hesitant about returning to sport.

The report was released by Canadian Women & Sport in collaboration with E-Alliance, of which Pegoraro is a co-director.

Pegoraro is professor in the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism as well as a co-director of the newly formed National Research Hub for Gender Equity in Sport, and researches sports marketing and communication along with gender equity in sport.
