Looking for a good book? Interested in connecting with your U of G community this fall? Then register for Gryphons Read, your campus book club! cover of The Subtweet

Every year, Gryphons Read connects students across every program through reading and conversation. In August and September we host casual, online book clubs that are ideal for any kind of reader – whether you read tons of books every year or hardly make it through one, we’re happy to have you! No experience is necessary – we encourage students from every program to register.

This year’s book is Vivek Shraya’s The Subtweet. In Shraya’s novel, two musicians navigate the complexities of tokenism and representation in the Canadian music industry. The Subtweet paints a portrait of our contemporary moment, full of questions circling identity, authenticity and creativity while counting likes and follows on social media. Register online to receive your free copy of The Subtweet and sign up for the program.
