The University of Guelph community is mourning the death of Katherine (Katie) McElweenie, a fourth year B.Sc (Hons) biomed student, who passed away May 10.

Condolences to Katie’s family may be shared through an online memorial on the Coutts Funeral Home website. A live stream of the private funeral service will be available May 22 at 1 p.m. via the funeral home’s website.

Campus flags will be lowered to half-mast May 21 in Katie’s honour.
