Biomedical sciences professor Dr. Glen Pyle spoke to several CBC Radio stations across Ontario about an online event he has helped organize called COVIDdiscussions.

The free, online Q&A session will see experts from Guelph and surrounding areas gather to answer participant questions about COVID-19 vaccines. The event is organized by COVID-19 Resources Canada, a group of volunteer scientists, physicians and pharmacists who are working to inform Canadians about the facts about COVID-19, vaccines and scientific research.

Pyle is the volunteer Ontario co-lead for the group, as well as a co-founder of its #ScienceExplained initiative, which helps inform the public about COVID-19 and dispel myths about the disease and Canada’s response.
