Dr. Ryan Norris, a professor in the Department of Integrative Biology, contributed a commentary to the Toronto Star on the proposed Highway 413 that would run north of Brampton and Vaughan in Ontario.

Norris wrote that because the proposed roadway would bisect the sensitive headwaters of four watersheds, it could endanger to wildlife in the area.
