Dear U of G community members,
To help build connections during this time of physical distancing, every Thursday President Vaccarino will provide the University’s COVID-19 daily update by video. You will continue to receive regular written updates through the rest of the week. The weekly videos will be shared on U of G’s COVID-19 website and on the University’s social media channels. For accessibility, the video is captioned, and a transcript is available.

Help Stop On-Campus Thefts
With fewer people on campus, U of G buildings have become a popular target for criminal activity. Campus Community Police are addressing a higher than normal number of break-ins and thefts.
Remember, if you’re on campus, ensure your property is secure and your vehicle is locked.
If you observe any concerning activity on campus, please call 911 or Campus Community Police at 519-824-4120, Ext. 52206.

Parking Permit Refunds
Those who purchased monthly or annual parking permits will receive a 50-per-cent refund for March 2020 charges. We appreciate your patience while we finalize the process and timing of these refunds. There will be no payroll deductions for parking charges in April.
If you purchased your parking pass in person at the Campus Parking Services office, please complete the Permit Cancellation form to receive your refund. You do not need to complete this form if you purchased your permit online.
There will be no charge for parking on campus, including at meters, until further notice. Standard parking rules will still be enforced (e.g., fines for obstructing fire routes or loading zones, unauthorized use of accessible parking).
