The University of Guelph community is mourning the death of Ian Weir, manager of the University’s Sustainable Transportation and Parking Services department, who died March 23.

Visitation will take place April 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. and April 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Gilchrist Chapel – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, 1 Delhi St., Guelph. A memorial service is planned for April 5 at 4 p.m.

Condolences to Ian’s family may be shared through the Gilchrist Chapel memorial site.

Campus flags will be lowered to half-mast April 5 in Ian’s honour.
