The University of Guelph community is mourning the death of a staff member and a student, both of whom passed away last month.

Jerry Thatcher, a staff member in Physical Resources, died Dec. 25, 2018. Condolences to Jerry’s family can be shared through the Wall-Custance Funeral Home website.

Patrick Coffey, a fourth-year student, passed away Dec. 20, 2018. A funeral was held Dec. 28, 2018. Condolences to Patrick’s family can be shared through an online guest book.

Flags will be lowered to half-mast on Jan. 4.
