Prof. Dionne Brand was featured in a Globe and Mail article on Sept. 27 talking about her new books, Theory and The Blue Clerk.

A professor in the School of English and Theatre Studies at U of G, Brand discussed her writing, the role and function of art.

Brand is an award-winning author and poet whose writing is known for its beautiful language and for tackling themes of social justice and issues of gender and race. She is also Toronto’s former poet laureate.
