Join your friends and colleagues as the University of Guelph comes together to celebrate the start of another incredible United Way campaign!
Our annual United Way kick-off takes place Sept. 24 in Branion Plaza. Full details are below.
“U of G’s United Way campaign is more than just a fundraiser,” says campaign faculty co-chair Carolyn Kerr. “It’s our promise to our community that we’ll support one another and lift each other up no matter what.”
This year’s campaign is led by faculty co-chair Carolyn Kerr, staff co-chair Peter Routledge and student co-chairs Emma Pybus and Farial Hashimi.
“Our students are very important contributors to the campaign,” says Pybus. “It helps them put their Gryphon values into practice and become more ingrained with the community that’s their home for the next four or five years.”
The campaign runs from Sept. 24 to Dec. 3. Weekly events are held across campus to build community and raise funds. Last year’s campaign raised $650,000.
