Chris TurnerSustainability and global clean tech expert Chris Turner will deliver the Winegard Lecture in Engineering March 21 at U of G.

He will discuss “Tracking the Global Energy Transition.”

An author, speaker and strategist, Turner is an authoritative voice on sustainability and the global clean tech boom. He’s the author of The War on Science and the bestsellers Geography of Hope: A Tour of the World We Need and The Great Leap: How to Survive and Thrive in the Sustainable Economy.

Turner has reported on energy, climate and sustainability issues for publications including The Walrus, Globe and Mail and Canadian Geographic.

The lecture will take place at 5 p.m. in Richards 2529 in U of G’s School of Engineering.
