Prof Appears in New CBC Radio Segment

Prof. Chantale Pinard appeared in a new segment on CBC Radio-Canada‘s drive-home show “L’heure du pointe” on Feb. 1.

An ophthalmology specialist in the Ontario Veterinary College, Pinard talked to CBC about pets and ocular health. She discussed how it’s now possible to treat dogs, cats and horses for eye diseases such as cataracts, conjunctivitis and glaucoma, and explained that some dog breeds are more prone to myopia.

Pinard researches canine and equine eye inflammation.
