Prof. Ruth Neustifter appeared in a Feb. 10 CBC News story talking about sending provocative text messages, or “sexting.”

Neustifter, a professor in U of G’s Department of Family Relations and Applied Nutrition, told CBC that sexting can be a good way to flirt with a partner. She explained that humans have always used art, letter writing and stories to send sexual messages, and texting is just another medium.

As a sexuality therapist, Neustifter researches sexual well-being, sexuality and gender diversity, and survival after sexual and intimate partner violence.
