Prof. Mike von Massow was featured in a Feb. 22 Globe and Mail story about how companies and researchers are using technology to track the habits of consumers in grocery stores.

A professor in U of G’s Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics, von Massow discussed his grocery store lab and how he uses devices such as eye-tracking headsets and tablets to study consumer behaviour.

Von Massow studies structure and performance of food value chains, economics of food demand and pricing strategy.
