Prof. Brynn Winegard was featured on Global News discussing how holiday stress can affect your brain and overall health.

Winegard talked about how higher cortisol levels can affect your whole body, including the brain and hormonal cycle, which can ultimately lead to anxiety and depression.

She offered tips for coping with holiday stress, including making the most of the morning hours, taking time for yourself to exercise, meditating and practising mindfulness.

An adjunct professor in the College of Business and Economics, Winegard studies business-brain sciences, neuro-marketing, neuro-management, neuro-leadership, brain science of buying and buyer behaviour.
