U of G’s tuition raffle to support the United Way is back and better than ever! A $5 ticket gets you the chance to win:

  • one-semester parking pass
  • $500 off a distance education course

The prizes are available to students, but faculty and staff can buy tickets and donate the prize to a student.

The draw will be held Dec. 1.

Last year’s winner, Jacob Coppolino, environmental science (co-op), grew up in Guelph and knows the value the United Way adds to our community. “As a student, the tuition raffle was a great way for me to support my own community,” says Coppolino. “I’m extremely grateful to have won the tuition prize. Every bit of savings helps!”

United Way student campaign co-chair Sasha Monteiro says, “U of G students are known for their community involvement. Our United Way tuition raffle gives them a meaningful way to be involved with the campaign, and potentially get a break on their tuition fees.”

Where to buy

Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10. Get yours from your college dean’s office or from reception in the executive suite, 4th Floor, University Centre, from now through the end of the month.
