Working together with the assistance of a mediator, the University of Guelph and the University of Guelph Faculty Association (UGFA) have reached a tentative agreement, which now requires ratification by both parties.

The University and UGFA, the union that represents about 800 faculty, veterinarians and librarians, have been negotiating a renewal agreement since July.

Details of the agreement will remain confidential pending ratification by the membership of UGFA and the University’s Board of Governors.
