Mary Wells, incoming dean of the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, appeared on TVO’s The Agenda with Steve Paikin Oct. 3 and Oct. 6. She took part in a panel discussion on women in engineering. Wells, who will join U of G Nov. 1, is an award-winning engineer, professor and administrator who has spent more than 20 years in academia. She chairs the Ontario Network of Women in Engineering. Wells is currently the associate dean of outreach in the Faculty of Engineering and a professor of mechanical and mechatronics engineering at the University of Waterloo.
