The University of Guelph’s 2017 Community Breakfast will be held for faculty and staff Sept. 6 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre.

The annual event is intended to mark the start of the academic year and to celebrate achievements of staff and faculty who make significant contributions to life at the University.

Breakfast will be served in the W.F Mitchell Centre gym, and award presentations will take place in the event centre in the new Athletics Centre.

Facility tours will also be available.

President Franco Vaccarino will give an update and present the President’s Awards for Exemplary Staff Service.

Deans, directors, chairs and supervisors are asked to provide time for as many staff to attend as possible.
