Advances in bioproducts for the automotive industry will be the topic of a full-day forum at the University of Guelph March 23.
Hosted by the University of Guelph’s Bioproducts Discovery and Development Centre (BDDC), “Auto21 Knowledge Translation and Transfer” will showcase challenges and opportunities in using biomaterials for lightweight automotive parts.
This inaugural event is free and open to the public. It will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the U of G Arboretum Centre.
“This event will help promote the BDDC’s innovations and knowledge to a broader audience including our industry partners, and allow us to discuss the future of this growing field,” said Prof. Amar Mohanty, BDDC director and holder of the Premier’s Research Chair in Biomaterials and Transportation.
