The Office of Diversity and Human Rights (DHR) invites applications for the volunteer positions of human rights fact finders and human rights resource persons. The DHR manages U of G’s resolution process and provides support, advice and information to all members of the campus community involved in human rights issues.

Description of positions:

•     human rights resource persons provide advice and support to individuals and groups involved in U of G’s resolution process; and
•     human rights fact-finders assist the DHR in determining the facts in formal complaints filed under the policy and procedures.

These positions allow faculty, staff and students to play a crucial role in addressing and resolving human rights issues at U of G. Applications are due Feb. 19.

A selection committee will choose the applicants, who will begin their responsibilities in spring 2015 upon successful completion of training.
