This year the Department of Athletics has expanded its charity curling tournament  to run as a month-long league with proceeds going to the University of Guelph United Way campaign.

League games will be held Sunday afternoons – Nov. 2, 9 and 16 – with a wrap-up tournament on Nov. 23. For new curlers, lessons will be provided on the first night. The cost is $70 per person and includes all games, equipment and prizes.  Games will be played between 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Guelph Curling Club, and participants are responsible for their own transportation.

Interested curlers can register at the athletics centre or online (deadline Oct. 27) through Connect (http://uoguelph.ca/connect).
