Prof. Andreas Boecker in the Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics spoke this week about GMO labelling at the Food Regulatory and Quality Assurance Summit in Toronto.

He joined three industry representatives as a member of the GMO labelling panel. The group addressed implications of current GMO labelling trends from the scientific, consumer and industry perspectives. A particular focus of the panel was on the impacts of international trends and developments on R&D and manufacturing in Canada.
