Kris Inwood, a professor in the Department of History and the Department of Economics and Finance, was recently named the recipient of the Harry Johnson Prize by the Canadian Journal of Economics for his paper, “Trade Policy and Industrial Development: Iron and Steel in a Small Open Economy, 1870-1913.” The journal presents the prize to the author or authors of the best article it has published in the preceding calendar year.

Inwood wrote the paper with Prof. Ian Keay of Queen’s University. The award will be presented in Vancouver later this month.
