The Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations (OCUFA) recently launched a video competition open to current and former Ontario university students. The contest is part of an OCUFA campaign called We Teach Ontario that highlights the connections between teaching and research at the province’s universities.

To enter, students need to make a short video explaining how a professor’s research has inspired or helped them succeed. OCUFA hopes these videos will be promoted by contest entrants across their social media networks. Prizes include an iPhone or iPad mini and an opportunity to attend the OCUFA “Future U” conference Feb. 27 and 28 in Toronto.

Details and contest teaser videos can be found at WeTeachOntario.ca and facebook.com/WeTeachOntario.
