The Centre for Open Learning and Educational Support has completed a branding initiative that began when the unit was created in 2011 by merging the former Teaching Support Services and the Office of Open Learning.

The branding exercise provided feedback to inform the centre’s strategic and integrated planning and to position it to respond to the current and emerging needs and challenges of the University. Branding efforts have also resulted in a new shortened name – OpenEd – and logo to support the unit’s strategic directions and service to its diverse stakeholder groups.

Serge Desmarais, associate vice-president (academic), congratulates Open Learning and Educational Support “for this important achievement and for its continued commitment to advancing teaching and learning at Guelph.”
