Landscape architecture professor Cecelia Paine was honoured earlier this month at the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) Congress held in Halifax. She received the 2012 CSLA Teaching Award, which recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to landscape architecture education.

Nominees for the annual award must be full-time or emeritus landscape architecture faculty members who have made sustained, significant contributions to a landscape architecture program.

The award was presented at the society’s annual general meeting, hosted this year in partnership with the Atlantic Provinces Association of Landscape Architects.
