Julia Christensen-Hughes, dean of the College of Management and Economics, has received the 2012 gold award in the educator category from the Ontario Hostelry Institute (OHI). It was presented to her at a gala at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto Thursday night.

OHI Gold Awards recognize those top hospitality industry achievers whose commitment to excellence enhances the image of Ontario among thousands of diners, travellers and vacationers each year. OHI serves as an industry advocate on matters such as professional culinary, hospitality and tourism education, training and apprenticeship.
