Catherine Steeves, deputy chief information officer (CIO) and associate chief librarian, has been named acting CIO and chief librarian starting Jan. 1, 2012.

Michael Ridley completes his term as CIO and chief librarian at the end of the year.

A search is now underway to select a new CIO and chief librarian.

The CIO position was created in 2004 to oversee strategy and policy administration for the University’s information technology, services and resources.  As chief librarian, the person is also responsible for the administration of the library.
