Canada Post may go on strike starting June 2 at 11:59 p.m. In the event of a postal strike, the University is taking precautionary measures to minimize its impact on the campus community.

A U.S. post office box managed by U of G Mail Services will enable the University to correspond with people in the United States and overseas. Inbound overseas and U.S. mail should be addressed to the University of Guelph at:

YYZ/YYZ/700554
P.O. Box 1957
Buffalo, N.Y.  14240-1957

University mail will be forwarded from this mailbox by courier twice a week, depending on volume.

Mail headed outside of Canada will be picked up by Mail Services staff as usual, along with campus and inter-university mail. Outbound domestic mail to Canadian addresses must be held by the originating department until Canada Post services resume, or until further notice.

Questions can be directed to Mail Services at Ext. 52264 or kecott@uoguelph.ca.
