If you’re thinking of cutting your hair, why not donate it to help make wigs for children with cancer? Cuts for Cancer @ Guelph, a U of G student club, is hosting its second annual haircutting event March 4 and 5 at Kharisma Salon in Stone Road Mall. All proceeds raised will go to the Childhood Cancer Canada foundation, and top fundraisers will receive prizes.

All members of the Guelph community are invited to participate and help reach the $15,000 fundraising goal set by event organizers, who hope to collect 50 ponytail eight inches long or longer. For details or to make a donation online, go to www.mav-media.com/clients/CFC/. Donations will be accepted until the end of March.
