Prof. Jack Trevors, School of Environmental Sciences, has been named to the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) Highly Cited list of researchers in the ecology/environment category. The U of G researcher was selected based on the high number of citations of his publications by other scientists.

Trevors has written and reviewed numerous journal articles in microbial physiology and ecology, environmental microbiology and biotechnology, genetics, molecular evolution and cell biology. His ISI listing consists of almost 900 publications.

He has edited several journals and is currently editor-in-chief of the journal Water, Air and Soil Pollution.

Thomson Reuters ISIHighlyCited.com lists the world’s most cited authors from the past 25 years who have made fundamental contributions to their field.

Trevors is the sixth U of G researcher on the ISI Highly Cited list.
