The Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) recently announced the recipients of this year’s OCUL Outstanding Contribution Award. The awards are presented to members for their work in support of OCUL’s mission and vision.

Bo Wandschneider, Computing and Communications Services, was recognized for his leadership on the Ontario Data Documentation Extraction Service and Infrastructure Initiative, for chairing DINO (Data in Ontario) since 2004, and for his contributions within international organizations. The jury commented that Wandschneider “significantly advanced the vision of OCUL to provide comprehensive data services and data expertise to our faculty, students and staff.”

Established in 2008, the award recognizes the outstanding contributions of an individual or team within the OCUL consortium.
