Meeting Santa is a highlight for children of all ages, so when USW Local 4120 and CUPE 1334 hosted their third annual children’s holiday party on Dec. 18, there was no question who the guest of honour would be.

But Santa wasn’t the only special visitor at the party. Another red-clad character, Gryph the Gryphon, kept the kids entertained and the Mad Scientist brought his bag of experimental tricks.

Cotton candy, popcorn and drinks were provided by Hospitality Services.

“We’ve had really good feedback from the families,” says Wendy Morley, USW Local 4120. “It’s an opportunity for members to get out with their families and take part in something that has nothing to do with work. It’s fun.”
