IT systems incident update

The University of Guelph is providing an update on the IT system incident first detected on September 11.
While University IT systems are largely operational and as we continue to work to ensure they are secure, we have learned that limited information has been compromised.
The University is conducting a thorough review of the affected data on a priority basis. We will be in direct contact with anyone whose personal information may have been involved to notify them and provide any recommended actions.
Please be assured that the University continues to work alongside law enforcement, government and regulatory bodies, and leading external experts.
