DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Arrell Food Cinema Series presentation of First We Eat\, a documentary from filmmaker Suzanne Crocker about only eating locally-grown food around Dawson City\, Yukon for one year. \nThis screening is taking place at the Bookshelf Cinema in Guelph on March 30 and will feature a panel discussion with local food systems experts following the screening. Admission is free\, and registration is required via Eventbrite to reserve a seat. Your ticket will include the film screening\, a panel discussion\, and a post-screening reception catered by Miijidaa Café + Bistro with a cash bar and light refreshments. \nThe Arrell Food Cinema Series is an initiative created by Arrell Scholars. The purpose of our series is to bring food documentaries with a variety of perspectives to our local Guelph community and generate discussion about our food systems. \nLearn more and register here.
