DESCRIPTION:The Landscape Architecture program in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development presents a guest lecture entitled “Process and Practice at MNLA.” Bourne is a Landscape Architect and principal at MNLA in New York City. Bourne sees landscape architecture practice as a medium to celebrate and explore the environment and our place within it. She is deeply dedicated to elevated design thinking that advances the public good. \nSince joining the firm in 1999\, Bourne has led award-winning\, multidisciplinary teams on high-profile projects for waterfront parks\, cultural institutions\, and urban revitalization. Her professional passions include activating public space dialogue\, tackling climate change\, reclaiming industrial sites and shorelines\, and protecting pollinators. \nAll are welcome to attend.
