SUMMARY:ONLINE: Thriving in Action - Making Connections in University
DESCRIPTION:Feeling a sense of connection is directly linked not only with positive wellbeing but with academic success. Connectedness helps reduce major risk factors that can be barriers to scholastic thriving. This workshop will support the development of connection with ourselves\, with friends and family\, and with our campus. Building connections helps us with healthy decision-making\, genuine intimacy\, and self-compassion. \nJoin us for Thriving in Action\, a program that will help you move from languishing to flourishing throughout your time in university. Build motivation\, optimism\, and resilience\, and learn how to integrate those skills into your work as a student. In each workshop\, you will learn and practice both wellness and learning strategies that will help you be the student you want to be. Join us for one or all four workshops this fall and learn how to thrive. Workshops are offered online and will be delivered via Zoom. This program is offered by the Library and Student Wellness. All participants will be entered in a draw for one of two gift certificates valued at $25. Attend all four workshops\, and your name will be entered four times. \nIf you attend all four workshops\, you can obtain a letter of recognition for your participation. \nLearn more online.
